Description

Pierre-Auguste Renoir looks out over a sun-dappled landscape near Cagnes, where a small figure in a red jacket sits quietly beneath overhanging trees at the lower right. Beyond the foliage, a band of deep blue water catches the light, with soft violet-grey hills rising in the distance under a hazy sky.
