Description
Bathing Group brings together several nude women in a sunlit wooded clearing by the water: one stands pulling a white cloth over her head, another bends forward at the water’s edge, and two more sit resting on the grass, one washing her feet. Renoir painted the scene in 1916, using warm orange and ochre tones for the figures against pale lavender sky and green foliage, a palette typical of his later, sun-filled bather compositions. The canvas is held today at the Barnes Foundation.
This reproduction is produced as a museum-quality canvas or fine-art paper print, made to order in a choice of sizes and finishes, bringing the warmth of this outdoor gathering to a living room or hallway wall.
