Description

A dark-eyed young woman with short dark hair rests her cheek against her raised hand, her bare shoulders slipping from a loose white garment gathered low across her chest. She wears a pale straw hat trimmed with green foliage and a soft pink ribbon tied beneath her chin, and she looks out toward the viewer with a calm, slightly guarded expression. A warm golden-yellow wall fills most of the background, broken on the right by a loosely painted band of blue-green and cream, perhaps a curtain or screen.
