Description
Three nude figures appear in a loosely sketched grouping: at upper left an arm is raised, dark hair falling across it, while a second figure crouches low at center with her head bowed forward. A third, more upright figure stands near a vertical ochre-brown post at the right edge of the canvas.
Passages of bare canvas and thin, rapid strokes show this to be a study rather than a finished composition, with warm ochre, pink, and gold tones describing flesh against an unresolved golden-brown ground. The sketch-like handling captures Renoir working out poses rather than presenting a polished scene.
Trois Baigneuses, a small 1895 study, is offered as a hand-painted oil reproduction on canvas or as an archival giclee canvas print, made to order in a range of sizes and ready to hang.
