Description
Still Life with a Carafe, painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1892, sets a cut-glass carafe and a stemmed glass, both partly filled, beside a halved lemon on a white tablecloth. Light catches sharply across the faceted glass, breaking into small strokes of white and grey.
Behind the tabletop arrangement, a dark, mottled backdrop of green and red suggests a patterned wall or hanging, throwing the pale glass and the bright yellow of the lemon into relief.
This work is offered as a museum-quality reproduction, printed on canvas or fine art paper in a range of sizes, with a frame preview shown before you order.
