Lise in a Straw Hat (Jeune fille au chapeau de paille), painted by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in 1866, is a portrait of a young woman in a wide straw hat trimmed with small white flowers and a pale blue ribbon that trails down over her shoulder. She wears a striped blouse with a white collar and a black bow at the throat, and looks out steadily at the viewer.

The background is a soft screen of forest greens, with a glimpse of open water and pale sky at the right. The original, measuring 47 by 38.4 cm, is held at the Barnes Foundation.
