Description
Wildflowers spill loosely from a simple terracotta pitcher: white daisies, small yellow blooms, red poppies, and blue cornflowers reach out in all directions above a mass of green stems and leaves. The pitcher sits on a plain table against a bare grey-brown wall, which throws the flowers’ color into relief.
Titled Flowers in a Vase, this still life was painted by Renoir in 1866, early in his career. It measures 81.3 by 65.1 centimeters and is held today at the National Gallery of Art.
We reproduce this painting either as a hand-painted oil on artist-grade canvas or as an archival giclee canvas print. Every order is made to your chosen size, available framed or unframed, and shipped worldwide.
