Description
A woman in a red and white dress stands alone on a sunlit farm lane, small against the tall trees arching over her from both sides. A pale building shows faintly through the branches ahead, and a large, rough-barked tree trunk anchors the right edge of the canvas.
Painted the year before Renoir’s death, the picture keeps the woman almost incidental to the setting, a single note of red and white against a deep tunnel of green, gold and dappled light.
Reproduced as a hand-painted oil on canvas or as an archival canvas print, at its original 25.1 by 30.2 centimeters or scaled to any size, framed or unframed.
