Description
Four separate sketch-like studies of children’s heads are gathered on a single canvas, each rendered in soft, loose brushwork with downcast or turned faces. The heads are set apart from one another with only rough patches of color as background, giving the canvas the feel of a study sheet rather than a finished portrait.
Titled Four Heads, this work was painted by Renoir in 1905. It measures 32.5 by 27 centimeters and is held today at the São Paulo Museum of Art.
This piece is available as a hand-painted oil reproduction on artist-grade canvas or as an archival giclee canvas print, made to order in the size of your choice. Choose framed or unframed, and it ships worldwide.
