Description
“Figures in the Landscape”, painted in 1893, gathers several women seated on the ground in a dense grove of trees, their pale straw hats and pink, coral-red and white dresses standing out against the surrounding greenery. A smaller figure sits apart at the lower right of the canvas.
The tall, slender tree trunks and dappled canopy fill most of the composition, painted in broken strokes of green, olive and gold, while the seated women’s bright clothing threads warm color through the shaded grove.
This painting is available as a hand-painted oil reproduction on artist-grade canvas or as an archival giclee canvas print, made to order in the size of your choice, available framed or unframed, and shipped worldwide.
