Description
Bouquet in a Vase piles soft pink and white blooms into a mottled orange-and-cream porcelain vase, set on a dark table against a glowing golden-yellow wall. Renoir builds the flowers from thick, loose dabs of color, letting pink, crimson and touches of blue melt together at the top of the bouquet. He painted this small still life in 1878, now held by the Indianapolis Museum of Art, with the vase itself nearly as richly worked as the flowers it holds.
This reproduction brings that warm, glowing bouquet into a room as a museum-quality wall-art print. Choose a canvas or fine-art paper finish, in a size suited to a kitchen, entryway or small accent wall.
Each print is made to order, keeping the thick, dabbed brushwork of the petals and the golden background close to the original.
