Description
Full-blown roses in shades of pale pink, peach, and cream fill a round green glass vase, their petals loose and heavy as if the blooms are already at their fullest. A few smaller red-orange flowers and buds are tucked among them, and the whole bouquet sits against a warm, softly streaked golden-brown background that lets the pale roses glow.
Renoir paints the petals with soft, rounded strokes that blur into one another, giving the roses a gentle, almost weightless softness rather than sharp botanical detail. This painting belongs to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and our reproduction keeps the original’s proportions.
Available as a hand-painted oil reproduction on canvas or as an archival canvas print, made to order in the size of your choice.
