Description
Trees heavy with green and gold foliage arch over this garden view, framing a pale, luminous bay where two small white sailboats drift on hazy blue-green water. On the sunlit path below, a woman in a white dress bends to gather flowers in the left foreground, while another figure crosses the path further back, surrounded by flowering shrubs and rocks.
Painted in Sorrento, the picture is built from short, warm touches of color, gold-green leaves, pink and white blossoms, a milky sky, that give the whole garden a sense of dappled light and heat.
This scene is available as a hand-painted oil reproduction on canvas or as an archival canvas print, made to order in the size of your choice.
