Description

A young man in a brown hunting jacket and dark cap stands at the edge of a wood, resting both hands on the barrel of a rifle propped upright before him. His gaze is steady and direct, his collar buttoned high against the cool air of the forest.

Beside him, seated attentively on the leaf-strewn ground, a brown-and-white pointer looks up and off to the side, its coat rendered in quick, textured strokes that catch the dappled light filtering through the dense trees behind them.
